Twelve of our Scouts attended training on Air/Sea Navigation in Dulwich on the 30th March.
Whilst it was quite a complex subject we learnt how to plot a course from one airport to another avoiding hazards such as pilons, other airports, large hills etc.
We had to take into account wind speed and direction, the aircraft we was flying as well as airspace exclusion zones.
All in all great fun, we just need to convince the Group to buy a plane now!
