Hammerwood Scout Camp

The Scout Troop had their winter camp at the beautiful Hammerwood Scout Campsite in West Sussex recently.
For many of the Scouts this was their first camp due to the pandemic which gave us leaders a great opportunity to teach them some new skills.
Over the weekend the Scouts cooked (and cleaned up!!!), played wide games, kept the fire going as well as learned how to responsibly use axes and bow saws, we also had a trip to Broadstone Warren to do crate stacking as well as the secret tunnels.
